Salt City Splash Aquatic Center
Summertime doesn’t get any better -- or wetter -- than at Salt City Splash!
This 6-acre aquatic center,
located in Carey Park features
a shallow waterplay area with zero depth entry. Other
features include a slide and
splash toys for kids and massaging wall for adults.
The Catch Pool has a
141-foot flume slide and an
89-foot tube slide. The 50-meter competition pool includes 1 and 3 meter
springboard diving, lap lanes, basketball goals, 20-foot drop
slide and large floating toys.
The Aquatic Center can be rented for special events.

Free Water Parks
For a refreshing way to enjoy hot
summer days, Hutchinson operates
two interactive water parks open to the
public. They are provided free of charge.
Both are open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

- Fairgrounds Water Park is located
near the Kansas State Fairgrounds. The
water park entrance is on Severance
Street between 17th and 23rd.
- Avenue A Water Park is at the
corner of Washington Street and Avenue
A in downtown Hutchinson.
