In the Cosmosphere’s Grand Lobby, the public is invited to a free lecture by former Google VP of Engineering, Brian McClendon of Kansas.
From leading the computer graphics team that developed special effects for the mega-hit
Jurassic Park, to leading the teams that developed Google Maps, Street View and more, to the
design of better mapping and driver/riding matching for ride share and driverless vehicles, McClendon’s career has been a tribute to Kansas STEM education.
This TED-style talk that will inspire and motivate future engineers, software designers and
developers—or anyone who needs to remember what is possible!
