Join us during the April Third Thursday from 5pm-8pm at the Hutchinson Art Center for the Sixth Grade Virtual Art Gallery and Reception. The reception is free, open to the public, and will offer light refeshments.
To celebrate Youth Art Month, which takes place during the month of March, the elementary art department of Hutchinson Public Schools recognizes the sixth graders in our schools by creating a virtual art gallery with the technology department in our district. Each student has one featured piece in the gallery that anyone may vote for using our star rating system. The students who receive the most stars are the winners of the contest, and we hold a reception for them. We also take them on a field trip to the Wichita Art Museum in May. We are grateful for all the support we receive from our school district and the community of Hutchinson!
