Arkanoe and Salt City Brewing are teaming up to sponsor Hannes Zacharias' return to Hutchinson on Thursday, May 23 at Salt City Brewing from 7-8pm.
Few people have kayaked the full length of the Arkansas River once, let alone twice. Come hear 64-year old Hannes Zacharias present on his 2nd 'epic' solo kayak trip, taken last summer, down the 6th longest river in the U.S. from Tennessee Pass in Colorado to the Mississippi River and on down to the Gulf of Mexico. This Dodge-City native will share storeis and information on his 'retirement journey,' including parts through Hutchinson, on this historic national waterway. Hannes' presentation is a must see for anyone interested in the Arkansas River as an important resource for our community! Hope to see you there!
