Story Synopsis: Even Me is a tale about a small and curious caterpillar named Novi. He goes on a journey after watching many animals traveling in the same direction. He finds out the One is telling him to travel to a boat, but he is not sure exactly why. His curiosity gets the best of him and he ends up hitchhiking with a no-nonsense elephant named Esperanza. Throughout the journey of surprises and wonder, he is learning to trust God and that he is significant no matter his size or what he does! This beautifully illustrated story is a feast for the eyes as well as a lesson to feed the soul. It was written for ages 5-11, but all will enjoy this beautiful tale of hope and significance.
Author Bio: Jennie Bourquin is a new up-and-coming author with a message for children: You are significant! Jennie was born and raised in Buhler, Kansas where she also attended schools in the Buhler School District. She is currently a 3rd grade teacher in the Olathe school district. Jennie lives in Olathe with her husband Bret and 2 children, Olivia and Abraham. Writing fiction stories and poetry was always a hidden passion for Jennie, but it really came alive after having her children and enjoying children's stories with them. A story about a caterpillar's journey brewed in her head for several years and then one day she sat down at a coffee shop and wrote it. That story was the children's book Even Me. Her first children's book, Even Me, was self-published and is now available on Amazon as well as on her publishing company website. www.jenniebeebooks.com. W.H. For the last 15+ years he has been located in the Kansas City (KSMO area) and has been fortunate enough to work with some international, national and local clients in helping them tell their stories. From designing logos, websites, animations, fine art, illustrated storyboards, event posters, concept art and now children's books, the passion for visually telling a story in the most interesting way is simply ingrained in his being.
