Ayurveda, the "sister science of yoga", is an ancient system of health and wellness that considers the mind and body to be one. Ayurveda acknowledges that we are a part of nature which means we have the power to cultivate an intuitive relationship with the cycle of the seasons & that the body holds the innate wisdom that we’ve forgotten to tune-into as technology has progressed. We live in the age of information, yet we ignore the most vital information given to us by our body to nourish our mental, emotional, and physical health and wellness on a daily basis.

Join us on Saturday, October 19th for an afternoon of self-love as you learn how to listen to your body during this two hour Ayurvedic workshop that focuses on releasing the heat of summer as we sink into the cooler temperatures of fall known as vata season. Not only is this a pivotal time of year for transformation, it's the time of year that self-care is essential to stay in balance as vata is the easiest dosha to shift in and out of balance making it harder to stay centered, grounded, and creative. Fill your cup and nourish the mind and body as we move through a 45 minute yoga practice, taste ayurvedic snacks and drinks, and learn ayurvedic tips to keep ourselves in alignment with the shift in the environment around us.

Each Yogi who attends will also receive a vata season self-care package that will include a sample of vata balancing ghee and abhyanga oil as well as a detailed handout with recipes, tips, and yoga postures to incorporate into your life for a boost in self-love and awareness. No prior yoga or Ayurveda experience or knowledge is necessary to attend. To reserve your spot you must purchase your $28 ticket in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the door as this workshop is limited to 15 students.
