Join Hutch Rec in the annual Sand Plum Bicycle Classic!
- Course distance options: 14-mile, 28-mile, 50-mile. NEW in 2021 – the 28-mile and 50-mile races feature gravel options for those who choose to cycle off-course. Portions of the ride are along US Bicycle Route 76, a cross-country bicycle route that connects Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and Virginia.
- Packet pick-up times are available during the Ice Cream Social/Family Ride in the north parking lot of Salt City Splash in Carey Park from 5:30-7 p.m., as well as on event day Sunday, June 6 from 7-8 a.m. at the Oz Breezeway on the Kansas State Fairgrounds.
- Start time: 8 a.m. at Oz Breezeway on the Kansas State Fairgrounds
- Fee: $25 – includes shirt, refreshments at SAG stops, lunch post-ride, and Saturday night Ice Cream Social/Family Ride. Have your family join you at Saturday night’s event for only $5! Select the add-on at online registration checkout.
Proceeds from this event benefits the Friends of the Trail fund at the Hutchinson Community Foundation. This fund supports the walking/cycling trails in Reno County.
