"Hutchinson: The Pandemic!" is a Virtual Dinner Theater brought to you by Stage 9, Hutchinson Art Center and Blue Barn Productions

"Hutchinson: The Pandemic!" is an original comedy about Hutchinson written by Artistic Director Lynsey Becher and Director of the Art Center, Patrick Calvillo!  This show is a collaboration between us, Hutchinson Art Center and Blue Barn Productions.
SYNPOSIS:
Jade Piros de Carvalho is the current mayor of Hutchinson, KS and an unknown virus comes into her town and begins to wreak havoc!  She has to choice but to bring together the most influential people of Hutchinson to stop this virus!  She creates SPOH, an underground organization, and begins the adventure of stopping Corona, the virus from infecting everyone in Hutchinson.  Sweet Corona only came to Hutchinson because she is looking for love, and she finds it in Vaughn, the most beautiful vaccine she has ever seen.  Will their love be able to fight against the forces that want to tear them apart?  Only time will tell!  Well, and watching the show...that will tell you too!

How does all of this work? When you purchase a ticket at stage9hutch.com, you will be sent a YouTube link that will live stream the production.  Production dates are July 31st and August 1st, 2020.  Both events begin streaming at 7:00 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.

  • Tickets are general admission for $35.  Buying ONE ticket gets an entire household ticket!

How does food work? GREAT question!  A menu specifically designed for this production has been created by Mi Tierra!  If you would like food delivered to your door before or during the show, or ready for pick up, all you have to do is go to www.hutchthepandemic.cheddarup.com and order!  You can then enjoy a live local theatre event supporting three local art nonprofits while you eat local!
