Heartland Credit Union is hosting a FREE Shred Event on October 15th from 11-1 PM at three of their branches: 23rd & Severance; 37 & North Maize in Wichita and 2201 S. Kansas in Newton. They are joining 56,000 credit unions around the world to celebrate International Credit Union Day! International Credit Union Day is about celebrating the not-for-profit cooperative spirit that all credit unions share.
Heartland Credit Union is also joining credit unions in Hutchinson to host a Food Drive to benefit the food Bank of Reno County. To donate, drop off canned and non-perishable food items at participating credit unions in Hutchinson through October October 5th, or stop by Third Thursday on October 15th, 5:30-8:00 PM in Downtown Hutchinson to 'stuff the truck' with donations.
