Model rocket enthusiasts from Kansas and St. Louis welcome the public to enjoy a historic NASA scale model themed launch at 4:45 pm, a twilight Saturn/Skylab launch reenactment at 5:30 pm, a Kansas Organization for Space modeling/St. Louis Rocketry Association launch at 5:45 pm, and an Apollo 17 launch reenactment at 6:15 pm. The launches are weather-dependent and will run if there is no precipitation, temperatures are above 39 degrees, winds are under 10 mph.
The event will take place at the Kansas State Fairgrounds, NE corner of North Plum Street & 20th Avenue.
