Smallville Festival Amazing Space Race @ the Cosmosphere

It's a Bird! It's a Plane!  No, wait…is that a rocket?  Join the Cosmosphere on Saturday, June 21, 2025 for Smallville Festival's Amazing Space Race, from 9:00 am-5:00 pm.

Participants will embark on an exciting, self-guided ‘race’ throughout the Hall of Space Museum, solving clues, discovering art5ifacts, and possibly leaving with a ‘major award*’.

The Amazing Space Race is FREE to the public and available on a come-and-go basis anytime between 9:00 am-5:00 pm.  Participants must have a Smallville Festival wristband to enter the Hall of Space Museum.  When you arrive at the Cosmosphere to participate in the Amazing Space Race, please proceed to the Box Office to receive your wristband, gain access to the Hall of Space Museum, and receive your clues!  Smallville Festival wristbands can picked up on Saturday, June 21, at the Cosmosphere's Box Office.

1. Visit the Cosmosphere Box Office upon arrival and let the staff know you'd like to play the AMAZING SPACE RACE.
2. You'll receive a yellow wristband and a list of clues
3. Travel through space (the Cosmosphere's main floor & Hall of Space Museum) and solve clues that lead you to various artifacts with a unique number.
4. The clues can be solved in any order.
5. Each participating artifact will have a red and yellow clue marker to know you have the correct one.
6. Write down the unique number that goes along with each artifact.
7. Once you have found all the artifacts on the list and their corresponding numbers, add them up to get a total, & take your filled-out clue sheet to the Cosmosphere's Gift Shop on the main floor to receive your prize!*  It's that easy!

*Quantities are limited.  One prize per clue sheet.
