Visitors will take a step back in time when they visit the Amish community of Yoder. The town is a quaint mixture of the past and present, as horse drawn buggies are intermingled with cars and trucks.

Yoder Hardware and Lumber

Yoder Hardware and Lumber is truly an old-time hardware store with horseshoes, hand tools, crocks, butter churns and sausage stuffers. One of the specialties of the store is the oil lamp collection. They carry a full line of Radio Flyer metal wagons, bicycles and toys. Like most hardware stores they also carry all of the latest gadgets for your hardware needs.

Carriage Crossing

Enjoy a delicious lunch at Carriage Crossing, a delightful restaurant featuring a large menu of home-cooked meals, or try the family-style all-you-can-eat dinner. They pride themselves in serving local meats from Yoder Meats and you will taste the quality difference! Be sure to save room for a slice of homemade pie! You won’t want to miss their gift shop filled with handmade Amish quilts and other unique gift items.

The Farm at Yoder

After lunch you might want to take a tour of The Farm at Yoder, where you will see a petting zoo, explore the barns and maybe take a wagon ride through the fields. The Farm also offers a corn maze and pumpkin patch in the fall.

Yoder Meats/Kansas Station

Before you head out of town, make a stop at Yoder Meats/Kansas Station. Kansas Station is a warm inviting country shop showcasing an excellent array of the very best of Kansas! They stock locally made items, including quilts, bonnets, aprons, Amish dolls, doilies, candies, jams, jellies and Amish-made baskets. Yoder Meats features some of Kansas’ best smoked ham, turkey, bacon, sausage, beef jerky, dried beef and Amish cheese.
