Visit Hutch and Rice Park Ringers to Host 2026 NHPA World Doubles Championship in Hutchinson

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: HUTCHINSON, KS — Visit Hutch is excited to announce that Hutchinson, Kansas, has been selected by the National Horseshoe Pitching Association (NHPA) to host the 2026 World Doubles Championship, taking place October 9–11, 2026. The event will be held at the horseshoe pitching mounds in Rice Park and will be hosted in conjunction with the Rice Park Ringers Horseshoe Club, a dedicated local organization that has long supported the sport and its community.
“This marks a significant milestone for the local community and highlights Hutchinson’s growing reputation as a premier destination for national sporting events. After years of building the relationship with the NHPA, we are excited to work with their team and the Rice Park Ringers to host this Championship”, said Holly Leiker, Director of National Sales and Sports Events for Visit Hutch.
The announcement was made during this year’s NHPA World Championship in Salt Lake City, where representatives from Visit Hutch were present to celebrate the exciting news. The World Doubles Championship will bring hundreds of elite horseshoe pitchers from across the globe to Hutchinson for three days of competitive play, camaraderie, and community engagement. With Rice Park’s top-notch facilities and the support of the Rice Park Ringers, Hutchinson is poised to deliver an unforgettable experience for athletes and fans alike.
