One of the oldest mural’s downtown is by Dave Loewenstein, one of Kansas’ greatest community muralists. The mural pays homage to Hutchinson with images of farming, the Kansas State Fair, the stars, and poet William Stafford, who grew up in the area. This mural is located along the parking area by Cow Creek near the back of the Memorial Hall Building. (2002)
