'A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play - Theatre Production'

Get into the holiday spirit at ‘A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play - Theatre Production’ , on November 20-22, 2026, at the Stringer Fine Arts Center.  Showtimes are 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 2:00 pm on Sunday.  (Doors open at 6:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 1:30 on Sunday).

A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play is typically framed as a Christmas Eve broadcast inside a fictional radio station.  In addition to telling Scrooge's redemption story, the performance places the audience in the role of the live studio audience.  The actors step up to 1940s-style microphones, shift their voices and postures to play multiple roles, and frequently ‘break character’ between scenes to act out tongue-in-cheek vintage commercials.
