Boo at the Zoo

Gather your family and friends, and come out to the Zoo dressed in your best non-scary Halloween costumes for the 33rd Annual Boo at the Zoo on October 24, 2026, from 1:00-5:00 pm, to fill up on sweet treats and lost of fun!

In addition to the traditional distribution of Halloween candy, children will be treated to engaging animal encounters, festive games, and - thanks to the generosity of Inflate-o-Fun, children can romp and play in the Jumper Slide Bounce House.

• Don't miss our special Keeper Chats: Halloween Edition, where you can talk to the keepers and learn about the cool and spooky animals at the Hutchinson Zoo. 
• The Prairie Thunder Railroad will be up and running throughout the event, so be sure to save time for a ride through the back prairie of the Zoo.
• TIMED TICKETING IS BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR!  THERE IS NO COST TO ATTEND, HOWEVER, PRE-REGISTRATION IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!  Get Your Tickets HERE!
