A Gathering for Gardeners

The Hutchinson Horticulture Club invites you to ‘A Gathering for Gardeners’ on Saturday, March 8, 2025, starting at 8:30 am.

Schedule for the day:

• 8:30am - Doors Open
• 9:00am - Backyard Chickens - Patrick Bergkamp, K-State Research & Extension, Reno County Agriculture & Natural Resources Agent
• 10:00am - The Sweet Slice of Summer: Growing Tomatoes in Kansas - Jason Graves, K-State Research & Extension, Horticulture Extension Agent,
• 11:00am - Sedums and other Succulents - Calla Edwards, K-State Research & Extension, Butler County Horticulture Agent
• Noon - Lunch - On Your Own
• 1:00pm - The Best Annual and Perennial Plants - Mike DeRee, Sales Representative, Ball Seed Company
• 2:15pm - Gardening as We Age - Kevin Nelson, K-State Research & Extension, Douglas County Master Gardener

This is a come and go event at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.  There is no fee to attend this event but they do ask that you register at the door.   Door prize drawings will be held throughout the day.
