2026 August Third Thursday

Bring your four-legged friends and beat the heat at ‘Dog Days’ August Third Thursday, on August 20, 2026, from 6:00-9:00 pm.  This pet-friendly Third Thursday celebrates animals, community, and summer fun with activities, vendors, and cooling treats for both people and pups.  Downtown becomes a welcoming place for wagging tails, smiling faces, and shared experiences.

In 2026 Third Thursday will expand programming geographically and creatively, growing Third Thursday from Avenue A through DCI Park, while continuing to prioritize experiences that align with the arts-and-culture mission. This expansion will allow us to support more artists, offer more variety, and create a downtown experience that feels dynamic from end to end.
