The 22nd Annual Alpaca Llama Show Association (ALSA) Grand Nationals will return to Hutchinson and the Kansas State Fairgrounds Oct. 24-26, 2019.  This will be the fourth consecutive year that the ALSA will bring their National Championship to town.

Each year approximately 150 exhibitors bring their llamas for the weekend competition.  The animals show in halter to be judged on confirmation and fiber.  There are performance obstacles for the animals and exhibitors.  There are different fiber classes which are judged on the fiber and quality of products that are produced from the fiber.

The show kicks off on Thursday afternoon with Llama Limbo and a Barrell Race.  Friday evening there is a Llama Costume Contest followed by various contests on Saturday.  For a full schedule go to http://www.alsashow.org/.

The show is looking for local entities that would like to set up vendor booths during the 2019 Grand Nationals.  The cost for one booth is $100 with the option of purchasing additional booths.  Anyone who is interested in becoming a vendor can contact Sandy Auld at 319-389-8254 / llamasrus@outlook.com.
