NASTA National Championship Rescheduled for July 2020

The North American Sport Taekwondo Association (NASTA) has rescheduled their 2020 National Championship to July 30-August 1^st.  The rescheduled dates come as a result of the phased in Reopening Plan for Kansas and will give the competitors additional time for training after their gyms reopen.

“We are thankful to NASTA and their directors for making the decision to reschedule instead of cancel their National Championship.  The athletes have been preparing for the Nationals for months, and getting to compete is the highlight of their hard work”, said LeAnn Cox, Vice President of Operations and Tourism for Visit Hutch.

The format of the Championship will remain the same with competition taking place all day Friday and Saturday, July 31 and August 1, and will take place at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.  The original event dates were June 11-13, 2020.

NASTA completed the 2019 National Championship in Shreveport, LA for the first time.  Prior to Louisiana the National Championships were held in Harrison, Arkansas and Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
