Museum Attraction to be closed to the public for equipment maintenance.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – June 24, 2017 – Strataca announced today that the facility will be temporarily closed for preventative equipment maintenance beginning Thursday, June 29. The museum is expected to reopen on Wednesday, July 5.

“It is unfortunate we will have to close for a few days, but with our busy summer schedule, we believed it was the best possible time,” said Mary Grace Clements, Executive Director of Strataca and the Reno County Historical Society.

Clements said that staff will be available to book future visits and would also be contacting current reservation holders to accommodate them. Summertime is the most popular time to visit Strataca, she said.

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for our visiting guests, and we will be working hard to make sure they have the opportunity to visit our great attraction on another date,” said Clements.
