36th Annual Reno County Toy Run

Details: Bring a new unwrapped toy!! Line-up for the Toy Run starts at 10 AM at Avenue A and Washington Parade route runs through Hutchinson and ends at the Moose Lodge. NO FEE or Registration required! Buttons and shirts are available for puchase. Chili Feed & Live Auction to follow Toy Run route.

Toy Run Backstory: This is our 36th Annual Reno County Toy Run put on by Abate of Kansas (Dist. 8) and numerous other volunteers! The Reno County Toy Run, as most know it, is an annual motorcycle parade through town beginning at Avenue A and Washington and ending at the Moode Lodge. The event helps a WONDERFUL cause and allows us to bring Christmas to many children who toherwide wouldn't have one.

Over the past several years we have been amazed by how large the run has become and how many bikers participate. Three years ago was a record breaking year with over 1000 motorcycles and we look forward to breaking that number this year, all with your help!!!

Some years ago we saw the need and opportunity to brach out from our sole event - the run itself - to provide additional fundraising. We added the Christmas in July 5k in 2012 to reach out to the non-riding community who wanted to join us in our efforts. The following year we added the RCTR Calendar, allowing business to sponsor a month and advertise their establishment, while at the same time providing funds for our bicycle fund.

Over the last couple of years, it has been our goal to be present in our community - to prove that we are more than just a group of "bikers." We truly care about our community and most importantly the kids and babies that are in need during what should be one of the best times of the year for them! Please know that any time you partner with the Reno County Toy Run through any number of ways, your dollars go directly back in this COMMUNITY! Our goal is to provide the absolute best Chirstmas the children have ever experienced!
