Prairie Nutcracker

Come out and celebrate the Prairie Nutcracker's 16th Season on December 12-14, 2025.  Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm.  

A uniquely Kansas adaption of Tchaikovsky's traditional Nutcracker.  Set in 1869 Kansas, this century's new holiday tradition made its debut in 2000 at the fox.  Prairie Nutcracker is the perfect heart-warming American celebration for the heartland's holiday season.  It features an enchanting musical score masterfully adapted from Tchaikovsky by Boston composer, Rick Kuethe, a native of Omaha, Nebraska.

You won't want to miss this delightful and wonder filled holiday gift for the whole family.  This highly anticipated theatrical event is produced by the Prairie Nutcracker Foundation of Hutchinson.
