Welcome the newest exhibit to the Hutchinson Art Center gallery 'Night & Day on Sandhill Prairie Farm', by Betony Coons & Katie Flindall!
Sisters Betony Coons & Katie Flindall grew up on Sandhill Prairie Farm in central Kansas, where they were homeschooled with three other siblings. Puppet theaters, zip lines, tightrope walks, hosting family plays on a functional in-home stage were their daily pastimes. Their artwork often reflects upon these playful and energetic days from childhood and provides a whimsical atmosphere and narrative for this featured exhibit.
Enjoy free snacks and beer samples (beer provided courtesy of Sandhills Brewery) as you peruse the atmospheric exhibit. Admission is FREE and open to the public.
