March is Women’s History Month and June 18 will be the 41st anniversary of Sally Ride becoming the first American woman in space. Titled “Sally Ride: Cosmic Trailblazer,” Cosmosphere’s curator Shannon Whetzel will celebrate by sharing stories of Sally Ride, Valentina Tereshkova, and Svetlana Savitskaya—all amazing women who were among the first female pioneers of space.
