Join us Friday, June 14, from 5:30-7:00 pm to celebrate Sally's Night, the 41st Anniversary of astronaut Dr. Sally Ride becoming the first American woman in space, and to shine the light on women in STEM.
Cosmosphere Curator Shannon Whetzel will share stories of the ‘Rocket Girls’, a group of human computers who worked at NASA and JPL from the 1940's through 1960's.
The event includes cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and appetizers. It is free to Cosmosphere members and $15 for non-members.
