Description
The Stations of the Cross exhibit will be on display at Grace Episcopal Church from February 28-April 20, 2025 during the Lenten liturgical season.
The Stations of the Cross, or the Way of the Cross, are a series of images depicting Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion. The stations grew out of imitations of the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem, a traditional processional route symbolizing the path Jesus walked to Calvary. They are meant to help the Christian faithful make a spiritual pilgrimage by contemplating the Passion of Christ. It has become a popular devotion in many Western Christian churches, including those in the Episcopal/Anglican, Roman Catholic, Lutheran, and Methodist traditions.
Public Viewing Times: February 28-April 20, 2025
