2025 Juneteenth Freedom Celebration

The Hutchinson NAACP Youth Council, in partnership with Wisdom In Motion, Hutch In Harmony, and the City of Hutchinson, proudly announce the 6th Annual Juneteenth Celebration, a vibrant two-day event honoring freedom, culture, and community.

This year's celebration kicks off on Thursday, June 19th at 6:00 pm at Chester I Lewis Plaza, 15 E. 1st.  Featuring opening remarks from Mayor Stacy Goss.  The evening will include a Youth Talen Show highlighting the incredible talent of local youth, and a Health Fair hosted by Hutchinson regional Medical Center, offering free health screenings and valuable community health resources.  Attendees can also enjoy a variety of food trucks and local vendors.

The celebration continues on Friday, June 20th at 7:00 pm with a free community BBQ, Bounce House, games for the kids, and a classic cake walk.  Local vendors will return for another evening of connection, celebration, and community spirit.

This event is free and open to the public, all are encouraged to attend and take part in the festivities.
