Foundation Oil Painting Workshop

The Hutchinson Art Center is proud to host a workshop where you can learn the foundations of oil painting, led by Wichita artist and teacher Yulla Vega on September 26-28, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 pm each day.

During this beginner-friendly 3-day workshop, you'll explore how to safely use the solvents, paint, and supplies along with essentials such as techniques in color mixing, brushwork, and layering.  Through step-by-step instructions, live tutorials, and guidance you'll learn to create your own paintings while developing a solid foundation in oil painting.

Cost: $75.00 for Members - $85.00 for Non-Members
