World Desert Day

Celebrate World Desert Day at the Hutchinson Zoo on January 10, 2026, from 11:00 am-2:00 pm.  Enjoy fun hands-on-learning activities in the World Biomes building, then don't miss a special Desert animal encounter near the Desert Exhibit.  A great opportunity for all ages to explore desert ecosystems and meet some incredible animals up close.

Come explore and learn all about deserts and the wildlife that call it home!  This is a Free event to attend.
