The U.S. Nationals Horseshoe Pitching Tournament will bring competitors from across the country to Rice Park in Hutchinson, Kansas, May 29–31, 2026.  Hosted by the Rice Park Horseshoe Club, Visit Hutch and sanctioned by the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (NHPA), the three-day event is expected to attract upwards of 300 athletes and spectators representing states from California to Virginia and Idaho to Florida, along with many talented Kansans.

The tournament weekend will feature three separate championship events, giving players multiple opportunities to compete at a high level while showcasing the skill and tradition of the sport of horseshoe pitching. The festivities begin Friday, May 29 and continue through Saturday and Sunday, creating a full weekend of competition and camaraderie for athletes and spectators alike.
