The 1861 Club and The Kansas State Fairgrounds Foundation Present Nine Lives: Free Fairtime Concert Series at the 1861 Club, featuring Hunter Hicks - Emerging Country Concert from 8:00-11:00 pm, on September 14, 2026.

Raised in a family of musicians, Hunter grew up surrounded by the sounds of guitars, heartfelt lyrics, and the kind of honest storytelling that defines country music.  With raw vocals and honest lyrics, Hunter’s sound captures the spirit of a new generation of country artists — grounded in tradition, but not afraid to blur the lines between country, rock, and Americana.

All Fairtime concerts at the 1861 Club are FREE, no cover charges! Come early to snag the best seats since it’s first come, first served!
